El Museo del Barrio's annual Día de Los Muertos fundraiser was fittingly held at the Angel Orensanz Foundation, one of the oldest surviving Gothic-revival synagogues in New York City. La Muerte and a pair of dead ballerinas greeted us at the top of the steps, but don't be freaked out! Code dress was strictly Day of the Dead inspired costumes, and guests did not disappoint.

From flower crowns to painted faces, everyone came out to support El Museo's benefit in their chicest muerte garb, including the stars of the evening Nina Sky who DJ'd the party. The twins were charmingly dressed as Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera.

The evening also had spectacular cocktails by Tequila Don Julio and Mexican fusion bites by Hecho en Dumbo. Proceeds from ticket sales and the silent auction will support El Museo’s education and public programming for adults, families and youth.
