About the book: Midnight Blue’s consists of a series of poems that feel as if the speaker in each poem is moving. Each poem is witty, includes a touch of sensuality, and makes you want to get the hell out of town and relax on a cool, tropical island.

About the author: This 32-year-old old half Belizean, half Colombian beauty is from Brooklyn, New York. She wrote mostly fiction until college, where she took a class taught by Deborah Digges on Dickinson, Bishop, and Plath. She's been writing poetry ever since. Her poems have appeared in Word Riot, Everyday Genius, and The Boiler Journal. Her first book, Weekend Poems was released in 2014 AND she has a black belt in Shotokan!
