As I continue my sad life without a television (it's temporary), there's no way in hell I was going to miss out on watching the 2016 Tony Awards. I would never allow my pathetic situation to hinder me from experiencing one of the most diverse nights in Tony's history, and not to mention Hamilton's phenomenal year on Broadway.
The 2016 Tony Awards proved to be a monumental night, not just for the theater lovers or for actors of color, but for the LGBT community who lost so many in Orlando, Florida. Everyone in attendance rallied to put on a memorable night because, as we know, Broadway is all about acceptance and celebrating our differences.
