According to Billboard, the R&B diva will be filling in for Pharrell Williams when the show returns for its 11th season. The news came quickly after it was announced Mylie Cyrus would also be joining the The Voice's cast, taking over for judge Gwen Stefani.
This will mark the first time two ladies have sat on the The Voice’s judge’s panel at the same time.
While we’re certain both ladies will serve as fantastic coaches, each bringing a fresh perspective to the popular singing competition, finally seeing Keys as a permanent coach has been a long time coming for many fans.
In fact, people on Twitter have been asking for her to join since back in 2014. With her stellar vocals and fierce confidence, who can blame them? Oh yea, there’s also those 15 Grammy awards. NBD.
