Jackie Cruz is proud to be a Latina and doesn't care who knows it — hell, she flaunts it!

Cruz gave life to the angsty character Flaca on Netflix's hit show "Orange Is the New Black," but that's not all this powerhouse is known for. From her killer rendition of "Como La Flor" by Tejana queen Selena Quintanilla to her inspirational Tedx Talk about overcoming adversity, Cruz is not shy about her Latinidad, nor should she be.

On Saturday (August 20), she took to Instagram page to share what being a Latina truly means to her.

The perfect picture to accompany such meaningful words, don't you think?

The post hit home with her fans and Latinas alike. The post received over 45,000 likes in 48 hours, which shows how much her message resonated.

Her sentiment was positive, powerful, and nothing short of motivational.

With over 600 comments (and counting), people expressed how much her words meant to them.

And she didn't stop there. Two days later (August 22), she posted a picture of herself as a young child with the same message — but this time in Spanish.

The first line in her caption read, "To those who wanted a little spanish [sic]."

Cruz didn't alienate her audience by rewriting her caption in Spanish; rather she gave them the option to choose the language they felt the most comfortable with.

She even highlighted how important language is to the Latino culture.

Her English translation: "The truth to our culture is so strong, our colors are so bright that our beautiful unifying language is now taught in just about every school nationwide."

And Cruz expressed herself beautifully in both languages.

"To be Latina, is a gift, and a privilege. Like any crown however, the one who wears it bears the weight. We must carry on our culture and who we are to the next generation and so on, so that they too can reign #iamlatina," she wrote.

So thank you Jackie for being your true, authentic, Latina-loving self. You've inspired people to tap into the beauty of their culture and reminded them that their identity matters.

To be @Latina is one of the highest blessings I was endowed with. I did not choose to be Latina but what a privilege it is to be one. Because take a good look at ANY Latin woman and you will find grit, resilience, beautiful scars from loving so deeply and the wisdom from victories conquered after hardships. To be Latina is to be BORN with pure love and passion! Passion for everything we do whether it is cooking, cleaning, bearing the kids or bringing life to the arts. EVERYTHING we do is with passion! We love with passion as well, which any man or woman lucky enough to have our hearts will tell you! We fight for our dreams and rise above those trying to bring us down because in our blood runs a long line of queens who have paved the way to bring us to the land of opportunity. Yet, the truth to our culture is so strong, our colors are so bright that our beautiful unifying language is now taught in just about every school nationwide. Our food is the highlight of any menu and our warmth, strength, seductiveness and dogged determination make us some of the most beautiful women in the world. We don't assimilate to the land we are in. The land has no choice but to make spacious room for us! To be Latina, is a gift, and a privilege. Like any crown however, the one who wears it bears the weight. We must carry on our culture and who we are to the next generation and so on, so that they too can reign #iamlatina ????

Full Spanish post:

To those who wanted a little spanish ???? #soylatina ???? ???????? #DR #Santiago
