Jennifer Lopez has come a long way since she first started acting. The Puerto Rican singer and actress has done everything from romantic comedies like Maid in Manhattan, The Wedding Planner, and Monster-in-Law to thrillers like The Cell, The Boy Next Door, and currently playing a cop on NBC’s new crime drama Shades of Blue. But if you ask her what her proudest acting moment is, Lopez can’t help but go back to her breakout role in the movie Selena.

In an interview with Felicity Huffman at Variety Studio: Actors on Actors, Lopez explains why she still considers Selena to be one of the most memorable and important moments in her career.
