Taylor Swift presented VMAs Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award to Kanye West and let's just say — things got cray! Once named the Lifetime Achievement Award when it began in 1984, Kanye is probably the most memorable to have won it after tonight.

Most of what he said had us saying "WTH?!" from "Sometimes I feel like I died for the artist's opinion" to outing Justin Timberlake for crying when he lost. He admitted to rolling up a little something to take the edge off, but it didn't help the audience from cringing throughout most of the twelve minute ordeal.

He "might not understand award shows" but he definitely doesn't understand how acceptance speeches work. Yet Kanye being Kanye it didn't stop him from being confident and owning it, if there was something to own in there. Just when we thought he was wrapping up he let us in on a little secret — he's running for president in 2020!

Oh, Kanye.

There was only one moment we could get behind, when he talked about raising the next generation. "This is a new mentality — we’re not going to control our kids with brands and we're not going to teach them to have low self-esteem and hate themselves. We’re going to teach our kids that they can be something that they can stand up for themselves — they can believe in themselves", said Mr. West.

Well... anything's better than Trump, right? Now about Kim K. being First Lady...
