With all the fun the Jenner sisters have been having at New York Fashion Week, chances are they didn't expect to get stuck in an elevator. But on Thursday night (September 8) that's exactly what happened.

The trapped sisters, who were joined by Hailey Baldwin and other friends, used their Snapchat stories to alert the world that they were in *potential danger*. Here is a timeline of their terrifying experience:

It all started Thursday night, when Kylie posted a snap informing her fans of her shitty predicament, saying, "My worst nightmare just happened, we are stuck in the elevator."

Kendall, clearly not about to let Kylie steal the spotlight, corrected her younger sister saying it's "our worst nightmare."

Upon realizing they were legit stuck, Kendall freaked out.

"I never thought this would actually happen," she explained on her Snap. "I'm genuinely so terrified right now and so hungry."

Meanwhile, Hailey could be heard telling her Snap users to check out Kendall's outfit. Because, priorities.

Fortunately, this isn't one of those New York elevators that is a black box with no service that cuts you off from the rest of the world. During Kendall's freakout and hunger announcement, Kylie could be seen *hopefully* calling for help (or talking to her mom — same thing).

Later, they tried to enlist the help of an outside bystander to no avail ...

"A" for effort, ladies.

After many failed attempts the girls were out of options, and the waiting game for real help began.

Um, did Kendall really cry over this?

Finally, after about 20 minutes, the fire department showed up.

Kendall regained her cool and confidently told her crew, "we're gonna be fine."

Kylie delivered a similar PSA.

One of the NYFD guys was all smiles to find an elevator full of models.

Better than a stinking cat up in a tree. (Sorry cat people.)

In the end, the girls were just happy to be free. Thanks, boys!
