When news broke of Paris Hilton's engagement over the holidays, all eyes were on the ring she received from her man, Chris Zylka. The actor proposed with a huge pear-shaped diamond that looks almost identical to the one Cardi B received from her fiancé, Offset, in October. Fans didn't hesitate to call the similarity out, but if you think the heiress was bothered by the comments, think again.
If you take a close look at both rings, you can see why people did a double take at Hilton's post.
The rings may look similar, but trust and believe they are very different.
According to People, Hilton's ring was inspired by one of her mother's diamonds, is 20 carats, and has an estimated value of almost $2 million. Cardi's ring has been reported to be anywhere from eight to 11 carats.
TMZ ran into Cardi and Offset in Los Angeles and asked for their thoughts on Hilton's rock.
Both kept it cute. Offset said it was the "same thing" with a smirk on his face and Cardi said it was "pretty."
