Ricky Martin announced on The Ellen Show that he is engaged to his boyfriend (now fiancée) Jwan Yosef and we couldn't be more excited for the couple.

The Puerto Rican singer revealed that he was gay in 2010 and wrote, "I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am." Now look at him: Living his truth and feeling comfortable enough to let the world in on his love life.

The couple made their first public appearance on the amfAR Inspiration Gala red carpet in Brazil.

Martin confirmed that they've known each other for over a year, and officially began dating in January.

“He’s a conceptional artist and I’m a collector, so I started looking for art and I saw his art and I went crazy because I really love what he does," Martin told Ellen DeGeneres.

Martin contacted him and fell in love with his creations...and the artist himself.

Martin shared the sweet engagement story and, spoiler: He's the one who proposed to Yosef!

He was really nervous, but that just makes the story 100 times cuter because it just goes to show that even celebs get "stage fright."

“Instead of saying, ‘Will you marry me?’ I said, ‘I got you something!’ I said, ‘I want to spend my life with you.’ And he was like, ‘What is the question?’ [I said] ‘Would you marry me?'”

Martin has two children, Valentino and Matteo, and he told Ellen that they love Yosef and vice versa.

Sleepy heads.

When Ellen asked about the relationship between Yosef and the kids, he said, "They love each other. It's been perfect Ellen, it's been really special."

Martin had his kids via surrogate and has been raising them by himself for eight years.

Caught up in the whirlwind of excitement, half an hour later Martin had to confirm with his boo if he actually said yes.

Duh, he totally did!

Congrats to the happy couple!
