Eva and Ryan

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are our favorite low-key couple. And we do mean LOW-KEY — you'd think Mendes is a CIA operative the way she avoids speaking publicly about any details of their relationship.

Luckily, Gosling can't stop talking about her — it seems like he's constantly gushing about Eva.

Don't believe us? Here are six of the sweetest things he's ever said about her.

Case in point: knowing the perfect way to say that he only has eyes for Mendes.

“I know that I’m with the person I’m supposed to be with,” Gosling told Hello! Canada.

The one thing that he looks for in woman is "that she’s Eva Mendes. There’s nothing else I’m looking for."

Not only that, but Mendes makes their family better. “In my situation, Eva's the dream mother, and they're dream babies, and it's like a dream that I'm having right now."

"I'm dreaming it all. So I feel so lucky,” he added.

Even playfully ragging on a co-star is an opportunity to slip in a completely adorable message about Mendes and their family.

When asked what his home life was like in an interview on "Good Morning America" while promoting his film "The Nice Guys," Gosling said "It's heaven. It's like walking through a field of flowers every day. I live with angels. It's a ray of sunshine in a dark time, because with Russell [Crowe], really, it's sad. It's sad that we've turned out this way."

And Gosling never misses an opportunity to give her all of the PROFESSIONAL credit — even if she doesn't want it.

When it came to the costumes for "Lost River," which he wrote, produced, and was his directorial debut, Gosling told The Daily Telegraph that she was responsible for selecting many of the iconic costumes. “And that happened a lot in the film, where she indirectly picked things that became very important to different people involved. Never wanting credit. She hates credit and she’ll even be mad that I’m giving her that credit. But she was very helpful in so many ways."

The sweet way he admitted that his performance in "La La Land" would not have been possible without Mendes will gut you.

During his acceptance speech for the Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy award at the 2017 Golden Globes he said "I would like to try to thank one person properly and say while I was singing and dancing and playing piano and having one of the best experiences I've ever had on a film, my lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second, and trying to help her brother fight his battle with cancer. If she hadn't have taken all that on so that I could have this experience, it would surely be someone else up here other than me today. So sweetheart, thank you."

If fierce privacy is what it takes to have a bond like this, we're here for it.

Wishing endless happiness to the gorgeous couple — here's to hoping he says many more sweet things about her in the years to come!
