Selena Gomez isn't usually one to be openly political, but she recently made a huge statement – one that was both fashion-forward and supportive of the Latinx community.
Gomez kicked off 2018 with a big partnership renewal – her Spring/Summer '18 campaign with Coach.
The 25-year-old has already been the face of the brand for one year, but this new campaign focuses on handbags and centers on New York City.
The campaign is great and all, but the real inspiration came when Gomez was getting ready for the photo shoot.
Instead of just wearing a robe or a white T-shirt, the singer took the opportunity to make a bold statement.
She wore a "WE ARE ALL DREAMERS" shirt while getting her hair and makeup done...
...and even posed with celebrity makeup artist Pat McGrath to really show off the empowering tee.
Gomez certainly isn't the first celebrity to stand with Dreamers, and hopefully she won't be the last.
Most recently, Britney Spears wore the same T-shirt and received some heartbreaking backlash. If the DACA program is overturned, thousands of people can begin being deported as early as March 1, 2018, with a possible new plan set into place.
The T-shirts were created by fashion brand Off White's Virgil Abloh in collaboration with the Emerson Collective.
Though the shirt clearly aims to support undocumented immigrants, the overall message is unity and compassion for those who need it most during the time that Congress makes its crucial decision.
