Shia LaBeouf is channeling his artistic side once again, and this time it involves an elevator in Oxford, England. For the project, called #ELEVATE, the Transformers star will be live-streaming for 24 hours from a stationary elevator, Variety reports.

The ride officially kicked off today at 9:00 a.m. GMT, and LaBeouf, along with his artistic collaborators, Luke Turner and Nastja Sade Ronkko, are inviting visitors to come in and chat with the trio about whatever they want.

“How do we do this and not feel douchey about it?” LaBeouf asked during the stream. “How do we make this egalitarian like the Internet? Let’s just move the talk to the elevator.”

Peculiar? Maybe. But if you are familiar with the actor, then you wouldn’t be surprised that the 29-year-old has decided to get artsy in an England elevator. In fact, this is just one project in a slew of performance pieces from Shia and his buddies.

Here are six other times Shia has acted out in the name of art.

1

#TouchMySoul

Just before launching #ELEVATE, LaBeouf and his collaborators created #TouchMySoul, a cold-calling experiment, which was also live-streamed online.

2

#AllMyMovies

Leave it to Shia to take his work on screen and morph it into a brand-new artistic project. During #AllMyMovies, the actor watched all his movies, in reverse order, over three days at a New York City theater.

3

#IAmSorry

Back in 2014, Shia opened up an L.A. art exhibit called, #IAmSorry, as a way to apologize for a string of bizarre behavior, EW reported.

4

#StopCreating

After reportedly retiring from public life back in early 2014, LaBeouf spent $25,000 on a skywriting stunt that plastered the message #StopCreating across the sky above L.A., TMZ reported.

5

"Just Do It"

Who can forget Shia's motivational, yet mildly aggressive, speech that went viral last summer?

6

Sia's "Elastic Heart" music video

Some called it art. Others called it a bit inappropriate. In the music video for Sia's "Elastic Heart," Shia can be seen with a then 12-year-old Maddie Ziegler, a pro dancer best known for starring on Lifetime's Dance Moms reality show.
