If Stacey Dash wants to cause an uproar, all she has to do is express her often less than popular opinions. She received a ton of backlash after suggesting Black History Month and channels like BET be eradicated. Now she's gone after Beyoncé's mom, Tina Lawson (formerly Knowles), which, as the internet is proving, is one of her worst ideas yet.

The drama stems from this photo posted by Lawson while celebrating Halloween alongside Kelly Rowland.

Lawson initially captioned the photo. “This is my baby as Dione last night. Of course she’s prettier and more smart than the one from the movie, but I was confused ‘cause she kept saying something about her pager.”

After her followers pointed out the insult Lawson threw toward the original Dione, Stacey Dash, she changed the caption to read, "This is my baby as Dione last night, but I was confused cause she kept saying something about her pager lord no shade intended!!!! It was a character in a movie!!!!"

Eventually Dash got wind of the unintentional shade and decided to throw a little diss right back at Lawson.

Taking to her blog she responded, "First of all, if you’re trying to throw shade about someone’s intelligence, maybe use 'smarter' instead of 'more smart.'"

Ironically, Dash failed to check her own grammar before publishing the post, because she included a typo of her own. She opened the post with, "Well, you never know what you are doing to wake up to, do you?" Pretty sure she intended to write "going" instead of "doing."

And of course the BeyHive caught her slip-up.

Considering Lawson deleted the offensive comments, plenty saw Dash's response as a way to keep her name in the conversation.

Others saw no error in Lawson's original post.

Of course many just saw the whole fiasco as another reason to love Ms. Tina.

One thing's for sure: if you come for Beyoncé or anyone in her family, best believe the Beyhive will sting you back.
