Come Friday, Selena Quintanilla's star will officially be unveiled on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. It's a big deal and a highly anticipated honor (even if it is already being criticized because it reads "Selena Quintanilla" instead of "Selena Quintanilla Perez").

Regardless, the moment will be one to remember for Selena fans — and her sister, Suzette, who did the honors and placed the star on the Walk of Fame.

Suzette Quintanilla appeared on the famous walkway where her sister's star was put down.

She posed with the star and even helped place the lettering on the walkway.

“They don’t give this honor to everyone, so I’m beyond honored... to be able to participate in the making of it, priceless,” Suzette said.

Though the late singer's husband, Chris Perez, wasn't in attendance, he did make it clear he'll be at the official ceremony.

Suzette also stood side-by-side with her sister's wax figure at Madame Tussaud's in October.

Despite the outfit controversy surrounding Selena's wax figure, the singer's entire family and Perez attended the ceremony to unveil the statue.

The Walk of Fame star will officially be made public on November 3, but we're so happy to have already gotten a sneak peek of the special moment.
