Anna Wintour can add being the plug to her business cards. Word on the street is that she is doing more than getting the fashion crowd to open up their pocketbooks in support of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. The editor-in-chief of American Vogue, who also raised major funds for President Barack Obama, is lending her keen fashion eye and her designer connections to the Clinton campaign.
According to The Business of Fashion, Clinton has been reaching out to Wintour for styling advice for her campaign's most important moments.
Wintour has reportedly "approached designers to procure outfits for Clinton, who has settled into a uniform of brightly coloured pantsuits and jackets by US designers."
That doesn't mean that Clinton's wardrobe is made up of freebies.
Her campaign is said to be paying for these items.
Although neither side has confirmed that these rumors are true just yet, we would totally put money on it since this duo goes way back.
Here they are at a White House breakfast in 1996 with Ralph Lauren, Washington Post publisher Kartherine Graham, and Princess Diana.
We hope that Clinton is not only looking but feeling great during the long road ahead.
Having the grand supreme of fashion at her side will keep the focus where it matters: America's issues, not her wardrobe.
