It’s us. It’s on. It’s time to represent. #PlusIsEqual

You don't need to be good at math to know that plus is equal. Whether it was on a billboard or the September issue of Vogue, you have probably come across the simple but alluring advertisement showcasing the silhouettes of six curvy women. This ad is Lane Bryant's popular #PlusIsEqual campaign, which is promotes positive body image and beauty equality.

Not long after launching its #ImNoAngel campaign, Lane Bryant hopes to send a similar message with the latest campaign: The message that there needs to be more diversity with the types of women that are represented in the media and that women deserve to see women other that look like them.

To enforce this message, Lane Bryant is calling all women to participate in the conversation over social media on September 14 and let their voices be heard. Lane Bryant CMO, Brian Beitler, is declaring this virtual social justice movement as a “thunderclap” and will be hosting an event that same day  in Times Square. In the meantime, meet the fierce femme fatales who we revealed as the beautiful women behind the silhouettes for the ad.
