How You Know It's Time to Get Rid of Your Workout Clothes

Does it smell?

Yes, I spent a day sniffing all of my clothes to see if they smelled weird. Even my dog was judging me at this point. Little did I know that workout clothes have a shelf life. Sweat is actually odorless, it’s the bacteria that live on your skin and digest sweat that gives off body odor. It makes sense that over time your clothes will start to gather a faint sweaty/musty water smell, even after you wash them. There are special detergents for workout clothes, but if that doesn’t work it may be time to go. If it’s clean and it smells weird, toss it. No exceptions.
