In this day and age, we women have proven that we can keep up with the guys and then some. However, there's one physical reality we can't escape: Men tend to have more upper body strength than women do due to higher testosterone levels. This means we generally have to work harder at strengthening our upper body. The good news is that this doesn't mean women can't too — not by a long shot. The key is to make sure you're practicing the right drills.

In the video above, I included exercises that you can apply to your everyday workouts. Practice these a couple of times a week and you'll find yourself toning up and getting stronger in no time.

Note: You will need a chin-up bar and a TRX, both of which can usually be found at your gym.
