1/3 Cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 Cup white sugar
1 Pinch of salt
1/3 Cup boiling water
3 1/2 Cups milk
3/4 Tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 Cup half-and-half cream
1. Boil 1/3 of a cup of water. Take cocoa, sugar, and a pinch of salt and mix into a saucepan; then add boiling water. While you stir, ensure mixture is at a boil. Simmer and stir for about 2 minutes. Ensure mixture doesn't scorch.
2. You will then stir in the 3 ½ cups milk and heat until very hot. This time, ensure it does not boil! Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour into mugs and mix cream in to cool to drinking temperature. Enjoy!
