Hey, New Yorkers – there's a new and improved version of the popular "Pizza Rat," and this time, he's millennial.

Even the rats in #nyc are on trend. Hope he finds some toast. #avocadorat #????????

Jessica Edwards of Brooklyn caught this little guy in action carrying an avocado along the subway track. "Even the rats in #nyc are on trend. Hope he finds some toast," Edwards captioned the viral video.

This is one of the very few times commuters found subway rats to be useful/cute/worth a look onto the track.

While some bashed the rat for being too "hipster," others loved the on-trend creature.

Avocados ARE supposedly preventing us from buying, well, anything these days, right?

Avocado Rat isn't the first revolutionary. Pizza Rat went viral in 2015 after he proved how dedicated he was to a slice of pizza.

Then there was Bagel Rat, who was a trooper but ultimately couldn't enjoy his treat:

TBH, there's only one winner here, because he's the only one who can contribute to Taco Tuesday.
