Each year, The Advocate asks the LGBTQ community to share their everyday lives across social media. The #DayInLGBT project gives people an opportunity to proudly share their experiences and perspectives. "We need to tell our own stories. Don’t expect the straight people to do it for us," Advocate editor in chief Lucas Grindley so perfectly explained.
