Latina activists are taking a stand against the racism, sexism, and discrimination that can be limiting to their communities. Though some of these battles may be harder to address than others, these fierce ladies can handle them. From fighting police brutality to breaking gender stereotypes at work, the two women featured in this week's episode of Latinos IRL, Patricia Valoy, a civil engineer and project manager, and Cathy Rojas, a teaching assistant at Hunter College in New York City, explain how they are making their social justice work come to life, proving that sharing your experiences is key to the movement.
