When it comes to eye makeup, felines are a thing of the past — well, at least if you’re following the latest Korean makeup trends. Enter the puppy dog eye.

Yep, you heard that one right. Marie Claire reports that this new K-beauty trend is all about creating the illusion of bigger eyes with what's been dubbed "the puppy eyeliner" technique.

According to the article, Charlotte Cho, founder of Soko Glam, explained that while the winged cat liner is all about creating a “very sultry, sexy look,” this new, canine-inspired technique is almost the opposite. “It's really simple: You're trying to create a rounder, larger appearance of the eye and almost look a little doe-like,” she said. “A little innocent."
