Rubí Ibarra, the Mexican teen whose father's viral quinceañera invite got over a million of people to RSVP to her birthday party, got the princess treatment on her big day. The quinces of the century went down as planned on December 26, and as 20,000 guests gathered in La Joya, Mexico for the festivities, she got the ultimate princess treatment.

Celebrity hairstylist Bernardo Javier Moreno Jimenez...

And celebrity makeup artist Alfonso Waithsman...

Took Ibarra's natural beauty to the next level for the occasion.

Designers to the stars like Mitzy...

And Michael Costello made sure she was dressed to the nines and looked every bit the part of a princess.

Despite the thousands of guests and dozens of media outlets trying to capture her every move...

Ibarra was able to enjoy herself onstage and get her dance on.

The quinceañera also received lavish gifts like a car from controversial mayor of San Blas Hilario "Layín" Ramírez who is famous for admitting that he only "steals a little." He also took the stage to invite everyone in attendance to his upcoming birthday party. You can't make this stuff up!

But unfortunately, the celebrations were marred by tragedy. The storied horse race taking place at the quinceañera with a 10,000 Mexican peso prize claimed a life.

The victim was a 66-year-old man named Félix Peña who had entered his horse Oso Dormido into the race for "the fame," and died on the way to the hospital after being trampled. Another attendee suffered a broken leg.

It is sad that such an awful misfortune struck an otherwise peaceful event.

However, it seems like Ibarra was still able to make fond memories.
