Mercury went into retrograde on September 17. For the next three weeks, we will be experiencing the effects of of our dear friend Mercury. This is the planet associated with the mind, speech, and overall activities with the throat chakra. The ongoing retrograde will teach us about mindfulness when articulating our thoughts, points of view, frustrations, and desires. Mercury being in Libra is all about how we relate to “the other,” and how we can better improve and nourish our sacred relationships. This is the time to truly analyze what triggers us, and how we can maneuver around the stubbornness of the ego. Mercury is notorious for its unpredictable behavior, which can be quite frustrating, and worrying. Yet we must remain higher minded, and realize that all these little things happening are not sufficient enough to break us down, and they are simple reminders on what we have been incapable of seeing.
