The return of Café Tacvba is here! The quartet from Mexico have released their first single in four years and it's sincerely beautiful.

The track is titled "Un Par de Lugares" and was produced by their long-time musical partner Argentine musician, film composer and producer, Gustavo Santaolalla. The song was mixed by Mick Guzauski, who's worked with Michael Jackson, Prince, Eric Clapton, and Daft Punk.

Of the song, frontman, Rubén Albarrán said in a press release:

"This is a song that talks about the feeling of absence and how we go to a pair of places - our mind and our heart - to recover the thoughts and feelings that help us alleviate the pain."

Café Tacvba will be headlining La Tocada Festival this Saturday at The Observatory in Santa Ana. Here's some other show dates:

Update: Oct. 11 Cafe Tacvba released the official music video for their new track "Un Par De Lugares"

The music video features surfer Leila Takeda, who recently won Mexico's national surfing championship. Leila is originally from Oaxaca, and was directed by Puerto Rican director Alejandro Pedrosa.

The video was also filmed on a beach in Nayarit, Mexico. Enjoy!
