Bruno Mars, Jay-Z, and Kendrick Lamar rightfully led the pack with the most nominations.

The Grammys eligibility period is from October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017, giving artists over a year to make enough waves in music to be recognized.

A few noteworthy singers, however, are nowhere to be seen on the nominees list — including fan favorites Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez.

Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, and The Weeknd are some other names who were "snubbed" by the Grammys.

Now, the Grammys are feeling the wrath of Lovatics and Selenators.

Lovato's most dedicated fans tweeted their frustration over her not being nominated at all....

... especially since she released groundbreaking new music this year.

Most recently, she and Luis Fonsi released a new music video, "Echame La Culpa," together.

Gomez's fans were right there with the Lovatics, demanding answers on Twitter.

Selenators are insisting it's ridiculous her work wasn't nominated, considering she's a top-selling artist, was named Woman of the Year by Billboard, and released new music all amidst health issues this year.

The singer even teased she has two albums worth of music waiting to be released.

Well, that shiny gold award doesn't feel quite as special this year.
