Selena Gomez is here to prove that it's only the beginning of her music career.

The 25-year-old singer just released a new single, "Wolves" featuring Marshmello, which Gomez described as a "personal" project.

It's yet another huge hit for the singer.

The song already has over 4.4M views with only 24 hours under its belt.

The secret? She simply took her time.

"I wanted my music to be a lot more meaningful, to be honest.... I just wanted to take my time," Gomez said. "I didn't want it to be crowded by over-glamorized things and the pop world can just be really distracting sometimes. This year, I did it at my own pace."

Even better, she's fully focused on the music she's putting out there – and has no plans of stopping in the future.

Wolves is out now! ????????

"I'm ready. I want to get back in and re-focus on all of my music," she said. "To be honest, I feel like I have two albums already completed, but I'm wanting to figure it out. So it's a lot sooner than I think people anticipate. I want to call the shots, I want it to be good, I want to be ready, I don't want to do anything that's forced."

She'll soon be making her first big return to the stage since the transplant.

Gomez is set to perform "Wolves" at the 2017 American Music Awards on November 19.

When can we expect more from Selena, you ask?

"It will be soon," the singer revealed.
