One of the major promises President Trump ran on in the 2016 election was a wall, which would be built along the US-Mexico border. For him and his supporters, the wall would exist as a means of banning illegal immigration between the two countries. For everyone else, it would both literally and figuratively end any connection with Mexico and any Mexican-Americans already here.
In response, the popular game Cards Against Humanity has created a genius plan to stop Trump from pursuing the wall any further.
Cards Against Humanity created a holiday promotion called "Cards Against Humanity Saves America," which the company says aims to destroy "injustice, lies, racism."
The company is known for pulling stunts, although we have to admit, we like the spirit of this one.
As part of the promotion, Cards Against Humanity is asking supporters to donate $15, which will grant them six "America-saving" surprises throughout the month of December.
All Day 1 recipients will receive "an illustrated map of the land, a certificate of promise to fight the wall, and some new cards."
"Donald Trump is a preposterous golem who is afraid of Mexicans. He is so afraid that he wants to build a twenty-billion dollar wall that everyone knows will accomplish nothing," the company explained on its website.
Clearly, the self-run game company (which calls itself the "party game for horrible people") is holding nothing back. In the FAQ section of the promotion, the company sums up just how seriously it's taking Trump's nonsense. The FAQ reads:
- "I'd like to cancel my order."
-"We’d like to cancel the 2016 election, but neither of us is going to get what we want."That's a pretty solid answer.
The company also created a hilariously dramatic promotional video.
It's an on-point spoof of the current state of the country, explaining how this card game's efforts will totally, 100% save everything.
Newsflash: It won't, but it'll at least give you a good laugh in the process. And hey, any small efforts in the fight against racist anti-immigration rhetoric is fine by us.
