Can you imagine what it would be like if suddenly a massive asteroid were to destroy earth and political candidates Bernie Sanders, Ted Cruz, Hillary Clinton, Jeb Bush, Donald Trump, and Marco Rubio were launched into space to ensure survival of the human race? Well, you don’t really have to now that Univision Digital has launched its new web series, Heads of Space.

The cartoon series was created specifically to follow the 2016 presidential election, and from watching the first episode we can already tell it’s going to be hilarious. Plus, it’s from the creators of Isla Presidencial, which was basically like Lost with the presidents from Latin America, and it all points to the political satire we can expect.

In episode one, “The Asteroid,” President Obama stays on earth because his coolness advisor suggests he’ll be the “coolest president ever” if he stays and dies with his people. We're talking about Morgan Freeman–level coolness. He then decides to send all the presidential candidates to Mars instead and since no human can possibly stand being with all six presidential candidates at once, Obama sends a robot named ROTUS to protect the candidates on their mission.

Watch the first episode above for a satirical twist on this year’s presidential elections. We can only imagine what fate would bring if this were to really happen.

Stay tuned for next week's episode!
