After a disastrous two weeks of doing everything from publicly ignoring Puerto Rico's devastation after Hurricane Maria to blaming the island for its problems and attacking the mayor of San Juan on Twitter, President Donald Trump finally made a visit on Tuesday. It was, unsurprisingly, a complete and utter trainwreck.
Not only did Trump trivialize the devastation in Puerto Rico by comparing the Hurricane Maria death toll to a "real catastrophe" like Katrina, he threw rolls of paper towels into a crowd of people at a church in Guaynabo as if they were dogs playing fetch. The action was humiliating, and further proved that he's not taking the situation on the island seriously. The internet wasted no time in taking him down for it.
