Yumi is a short girl, born and raised in the big city of Chicago (yes, the city, not from the suburbs). Yumi isn't her real name, it's actually Ymijan; she's the hybrid of her Mexican mother and Albanian father. In college she quickly realized that psychology sounded more fun than it was and changed her major to advertising. After graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2012, she jet-setted into the "real world" and began working in the advertising field in media at OMD in the multicultural sector. In her free time she turned to blogging/YouTubing to crack out of her shy shell. Yumi is also one of Vivala's Founding Creator Vloggers.
