Finalizing your vacation plans is always an oh-my-god-I’m-finally-going-to-relax type of high. But you better believe that if you told everyone on Facebook that you were going away for a couple of days, all eyes will be waiting to see your pics. Now I'm no pro, but I have refused to buy a selfie stick for the pure "I'm going to look like a nerd" factor. While my selfie skills are decent, it doesn't mean that I have epic and print-worthy material either. But now there’s a service that helps you with just that. So I said sayonara to my city-selfie ways for a day and tried out Flytographer, a photography service that connects you with professional photographers, to help capture your breathtaking vacations. Because who wouldn't want some memorable shots to decorate your apartment with or share with your parents?
The company has over 300 photographers around the world, so there’s a chance that you’ll find the style you’re looking for in the city you’re visiting. Pricing varies — starting at $250 — and is completely tailored to the type of package you're looking for. It’s not limited to vacation shots, either — proposals, bachelorettes, and honeymoons are also on the table. So when I found out about this genius company, I wanted to test it out to see if: 1) I would try it again, and 2) recommend it to people I knew. Since I wasn’t traveling anywhere soon, I decided to give it a go in my hometown of Chicago and convinced my girlfriend to go on the shoot with me. The experience blew all of my expectations out of the water and I’d give it an 11 out of 10 if that were possible.
