Just when we thought we couldn't love Ariel Winter more than we already do she impresses us again. The 17-year-old Modern Family actress posted a cute and innocent picture of herself with her two adorable nieces on Instagram, and the backlash she received was completely uncalled for.

In the picture Winter is seen wearing a bikini, because that's typically what people wear when they're vacationing on a boat. But Internet trolls took offense to her beach attire and called her a "slut" and that she was "asking for it." Fittingly to Winter's character, she wasn't about to sit and take it. Not only did she shut them down, but her response was perfect!

The image she posted shows a woman's legs with ruler-like measurements written on one, marking the labels or names women are called in relation to their skirt length: "prudish," "provocative," and "slut." The picture brilliantly sums up the struggle all women endure when it comes to what society says we "should be wearing."

It's sad that a woman can't wear a bikini without someone telling her to cover up or that she looks like a slut. Seriously, we don't slut-shame men for wearing speedos at the beach. How is that any different?

This isn't the first time Winter took an empowering stance on body shaming. She's been very open in the past about body issues and about her choice to have a breast-reduction surgery. Not only is she on a quest to put Internet bullies in their place, but she's all about body-positive inspiration. Here are a few more reasons why Winter is the ultimate woman warrior!

She came forward about her breast-reduction surgery

In August, Winter opened up to Glamour magazine about her decision to have a breast-reduction surgery and the body-image pressures she endured in the industry. "It's hard enough being a teenager in life, but being on one of the most popular and critically acclaimed sitcoms drew heightened interest. I was 15 years old with [size] F [breasts]. It's like, how do you navigate that?"

She's vocal about body issues

"I had body insecurities when I was younger. I still do. Every girl has insecurities — mine were heightened at the time because my mother wasn't supportive," she said in an interview with Teen Vogue. Winter now goes out of her way to send the message of self-acceptance to all her fans.

She made Time's Most Influential Teens of 2015

She was included in Time magazine's Most Influential Teens of 2015 list for her advocacy on body positivity.

She landed a $6 million contract

At just 15 years old, Winter received a mega pay raise for her role on ABC's Modern Family, to the tune of a $6 million dollar contract. This happened after her mother was accused of emotionally abusing her. We salute her for her hard work and having the guts to get out of a toxic family relationship!

She wants to inspire others

Winter's goal is to use her own personal story to inspire other young girls to love and accept themselves. "I also think there's some good that can come from [telling] my story. It's something that I did to better my life and better my health, and I think that that can benefit a lot of young girls," she told Glamour.

She's all about female empowerment

The actress who played the first female animated Robin in Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1 is a true feminist. "Female empowerment really is important to me. I'm a big nerd of the books from the 15th century and 16th century, when the men had all the power and the women had none of it. So to have Robin be a girl is cool because it gives girls a chance to know that they can do everything boys can do, and even better," she said.
